Is there any room on the broom?
Year R have been trying to answer this question!
This week Year R are looking at the story 'Room on the Broom'. In the story the characters create a potion using sticks, cones, bones and a lily which results in a brand new broomstick for the witch.
Today, Ladybirds and Bumblebees created our own magic potion. We used coke and Mentos and the children predicted that there would be an explosion. The children predicted correctly and laughed when Miss Boxall and Mrs Lidster got covered in coke.
The children are now writing what ingredients they would like in their potion and what it will result in.
In the water tray today, the children are using lemons, limes, oranges and their imaginations to create a magic potion. The children have wished for Go-karts, Happy Meals, Cherry Bubble Teas and new toys, we wonder if these wishes will come true.
