EYFS Love UNDERPANTS!
EYFS have been having quite the adventure on the Seven Seas this week!
This week Bumblebees and Ladybirds are learning all about Pirates! We have read the story 'Pirates love Underpants!' and we have written about our own pirate pants using describing words such as 'pink' and 'fluffy'. We searched for coins in the sand and picked them out using tweezers. We have also been retelling the story through our play in the water and small world areas.
The writing activity was to write a sentence using describing words for their pirate underpants.
The finger gym activity was to use tweezers to pick up coins and develop their fine motor control.
The water tray activity was for the children to use the pirate characters and pirate ship to retell the story using language and vocabulary from 'Pirates love Underpants!'.
