For their topic, year 6 have been studying World War Two. In particular, they have been learning about what it was like for children their age during this time period.
They were lucky enough to experience it first hand with an amazing actor from the Drama Hut. They experience the first call for evacuation, packing their limited items in a suitcase, what it was like to huddle into various shelters and learnt an old time tune!
Safe to say the children thoroughly enjoyed their day!
